I need help from experts. I have about 8 DSE901's. Sunday night, I soaked all the atomizers in white vinegar and then rinsed in distilled water. I also washed and rinsed the cart material. Everything was blown out and dried overnight. Monday morning, I put about 5 drops of juice into the cart and another 6 drops of juice onto the atomizer. Nothing, no vapor, nothing. I tried adding more juice, - nothing, then I thought maybe I added too much (cause I got a good mouthful) and blew it out. Still nothing. BTW - the batteries are good.

The same thing happened to me last time I cleaned everything. It took forever to get them all going again. I swore I would never do it again, but of course I didn't listen to myself and I did do it again!

I would like to know if anyone else has the same problem, or am I doing something wrong? What do you do after cleaning atomizers in order to get them going again?

I appreciate all your suggestions.

Thanks!:confused::confused::confused:

Something similar happened to me. I cleaned 5 penstyle atomizers some time ago (like a month?). Put them in a drawer. Went to use one the other day and I couldn't get it to fire....nothing. Tried the other 4...nothing. I put some drops of juice in each of them and put them in a small baggie....haven't tried them again yet but will soon.

Why did I do that? Because I used to use 8 penstyle atomizers a day. When I switched flavors, I would put the entire atty with cart standing up in a baggie until I wanted that flavor again. No matter how long they sat, they worked when I went to use them (even a coconut one I had in its own bag for about a month....fired right up when I went to use it).

I don't know why this would be....nor if it will work with this next batch...but I am letting them "ferment" for a while now....and will see how it goes. I figure I have nothing to lose.

I've found that after I clean my atomizers (801 penstyle) they have to completely dry out before they work right.
I mean a min. of 2 days, preferably 3, before they are 100%.
If I don't do this they just flat won't produce.
I've got probably 30 atomizers so I can afford to wait.
I've noticed others who wash them out at night and use them the next day but it doesn't work for me. Probably something I'm doing wrong.

I've so far had success with washing out atts with both my 901 and Evo atts using the following technique. I just give a good soak in VERY hot water (straight from the kettle), drain out the atts, and dab dry with a towel, then quickly blow through from the battery end very hard until no more droplets come out (holding some kitchen tissue against the wick end is a good indicator). A few minutes later, a quick dry draw in an assembled state (the heat seems to get rid of the last bit of moisture in the steel wick), then they are ready to go with a fresh cart.

This may be working well for me due to the fact that I'm using VERY hot water, and removing the atts whilst still VERY hot to the touch - I suspect this means most of the moisture is evaporating due to the latent heat still in the metalwork from the water, and therefore they are effectively self drying quite quickly.

The 901 atts take longer to dry out than over night. Just leave them for 24 hours and drip 4 drops on the bridge and let sit for 10 minutes. Then vape away :D I've been doing this for a few weeks and it works great.

401 atts take much less time to dry out. Overnight is more than enough. I've even fired them up after about 6 hours.

I clean my attys every night and always have to kick start them in the morning. I have to add about 5-7 drops on the Atty and let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes. I think it has to do with priming the wool or wick that's on the bridge of the Atty and working its way to the coil. (IMHO):)

The jury is still out on the subject of cleaning attys. I'm a little nervious about doing *all* attys at once. If something were to go wrong, you're up s**ts creek, with no backup.

Your right Jim, I'd definitely would not do all my attys at once. I have several backups. Never put all your eggs in one basket, especially if you are clumsy like me;)
