Hello!

I've been using my Joye 510 for 2 months now and the battery life is making me nuts! I've bought three regular batteries, two mega's and a passthrough. The passthrough still tastes odd, and the batteries are all quickly losing their ability to charge. I really don't want to invest any more money into it!

I want to upgrade to something that has at least an 8 hr battery, somewhat small and will work with my 510 attys. And I'd like it to be around $100 with batteries.

There are so many choices I'm a bit overwhelmed... I really like the looks of the Precise but it's out of my price range! Hubby's being really nice about my buying yet more stuff and I don't want to push it.

What have you been really happy with??

I would suggest one of the 5 volt mods which should give you the battery life you want and the batteries only cost about $2.80 each and can be recharged about 2000 times unlike the small batteries which wear out after about 200 charges. For a less expensive box mod, I would check out: Box Mods.

For a review of many different mods, I would suggest looking at this site:

If you want to look at upgrading to a mod, here is a nice list:

Akkutaulukko | e-Savuke.com

Most of those makers also have a presence on this forum so you can read more about the product.

One other thing to consider once you do decide on a mod, is to look in the classifieds section. You can find various used mods for sale.

Thanks for the links! Although I've looked at so many now I've had to
start a spreadsheet to keep them straight.

I started out pricing the Ego, but I still have battery life concerns.
How long do they usually last?

A mod sounds great, and I've been checking the classifieds. The more
I read descriptions though, the harder it is to pick one.

I really appreciate any and all recommendations -
or advice on what ones to avoid! :)

I have an eGo batt and they are certainly good much much better than the standard batts - and much smaller than I thought.
I got a 'try it out' one from Tasty vapor (and its been great btw no complaints at all) and Im going to buy this next
Joye eGo
because its TWO full kits for under $70 and I love cignot lol.

I gota Riva from Vapor Junction. $49.95 think they are $59.95 now. They are just like an ego with a bigger battery and button. My battery last about a day or day and a half and I vape pretty heavy. I think altsmoke has the them on sale now also

Hi kellie. I got a Riva a couple weeks ago and I really like it but I go through a battery and a half a day. I guess you aren't THAT heavy of a vaper. Either that or I'm outta control.
