I'm new to vaping. I've only been at it for 2 weeks, but I love it already. I have a kr8 from V4L and really like it, but I've seen so many posts concerning so many different types and mods and was wondering if my experience would be enhanced using a different product (ie. 510), or is it truly just a subjective choice?

I have to admit that I am a bit lazy and didn't want to go through dripping and other techniques. Would moving up to a higher voltage unit be worth it such as a chuck?

I loved my KR808d-1. Now I have two HV devices and I find myself using the KR808D-1 much less. I really like the throat hit and vapor production when using HV devices. It should be noted that I have adaptors for my HV devices and generally only use cartomizers with them. They work great. The only negative aspect is that you have to keep the cartomizers most at all times in order to avoid burning the polyfill material. I especially love my SB at 6 volts with cartomizers.

Do you refill the cartomizers? I was under the impression buying new cartos without refilling gets ungodly expensive. I'll be buying an SB soon, and am in the process of trying to figure out the right combo to use with it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

From the reviews I've read, I can see me taking the 3.7 batt when I'm out, and using the badd azz 6v when I'm home. Can't be freaking out the public with massive clouds of vapor quite yet!

I use blank cartomizers. At HV---After the initial filling, I take 10-20 drags, then before any loss of vapor or any burnt taste, I add 6 drops to the battery end of the cartomizer, take 10-20 drags, add 6 drops…… repeat…..repeat……repeat. I have never counted but I can do this probably between 10-40 times before the cartomizer goes “bad”

Bad to me is less vapor and harder drag (atty gets gummed up or something)

The SB is a great solid device and works great with cartomizers. When you order from Alsmoke, make sure you get 1 or 2 (approximately $6 each) adaptors that go from the 510 to 901/KR808D/Greencig and you will be ready to go.

I purchase my blank cartomizers form HealthCabin (50 for $50); however shipping is a bit more, I think around $15-20. If you purchase over $250 shipping is free. Since I like the cartomizer option, this is what I did and I have enough empty cartomizers to last me for a long time.

If you order from Altsmoke use coupon code "ecf" for a little discount.

I do not think it is that much more expensive. 50 cartomizers could possible last you a year. You will be going through more attys at HV than at 3.7 volts. I really think the costs would be similar. Maybe someone else can help because I generally only use cartomizers. Either way the SB is an excellent device and everything should work great with it.

If you really like your kr8 and have auto batts you may want to try adding greencig cartomizers. These are more expensive but last much longer, lots of nice vapor and don't burn out like the kr8. I have 2 that I've refilled about 25 times and with a weekly cleaning are just like new. None have failed yet.

I have bought these from nhaler.com and lecig.com. Lecig has the better price right now.

If you get a battery mod (I'd go for one that can do both 3.7v and 6v for versatility) and a few adapters, you can try multiple models' atomizers out on it without buying full kits.

Actually, you can do that without any mods - just get yourself a couple of adapters; they are 2$ each at heaven-gifts, and the atties to match.
