I'd be worried about releasing plastic toxic crap into the e juice....
Do you mean from plastic bottles? I think many DIY juice makers get around that by using glass bottles with leak proof closures. Then you can steep to your hearts content with no worries... hope that's what you meant.

That is correct, I am using plastic needle tip 30ml at the moment... I could see using glass but the cap is still plastic... What bottles are you guys tossing in a CP?

Glass.... bottles I use are called "Boston Rounds". I got some from Specialty Bottle - Glass Bottles, Glass & Plastic Jars, Tins, Vials and there are many others out there. There are different lids available. I get two kinds -- one called European allows you to use a dispensing needle to get juice out and the top has a plastic liner to help seal the bottle. (I'm not worried about the seal in the cap in terms of leeching -- not enough sustained contact with the juice)

Forgot.... I generally get amber bottles to reduce damage from light.

Yeah, I can see it as an idle topic of discussion. Just an odd one for a Capella's thread. Always a good one for vanillas, tobaccos, and creams though. Steeping and Breathe have been popular subjects on this sub for the last few months too, so you're in good company.

Cheesecake is the one I see that might benefit from steeping. Don't know for certain though. It has some notes that might become stronger with sitting sealed for a bit.

I always enjoy the convos even knowing that many are a rehash because I'm able to pick up different things I missed in the past. Capellas has always been one of my favorite flavoring companies. You can always count on them to have solid offerings.
Just got some of the cheesecake so I hope to find out how much steeping will help it.

I understand what you're saying but I do enjoy this information.. Even though it's not exactly a recipe it is helpful and I enjoy reading others thoughts on how to help my juice get to where it needs to be...Also the spread sheet has helped, but I still cannot seem to like the juices I've made, at 10% 13% 15% 20% .. Somethings off I'm just letting them sit for now I suppose..

Somethings off ..

How did your plain PG taste when you vaped it?
How did your plain VG taste when you vaped it?
How did a flavorless mix at your normal nicotine level taste when you vaped it?

You don't have to wait and wonder, you can do the basics. Every new batch of PG, VG and nicotine should be vaped, even when you're an old hand at it and specifically when everything tastes off.

Ok so I have tested, I just feel the flavors are lacking, or are "flat" Should I be adding lemon juice or water? I just haven't liked a single flavor stand alone.. Haven't got around to mixing, I think I'm gonna mix up some harvest berry + sweet watermelon... Then probably some Sweet strawberry +bubblegum + grape + sweet watermelon all at 5%

It's very weird with Capella. For me they always taste dreadful when first mixed. They usually come out great(depending on recipe) a week or 2 later. But the weird part is that I use the drops for my plain yogurt I get in a big tub(it's cheaper at the grocery store) and I add a drop or two to a normal serving and it taste better than Yoplait that has actual fruit in it. I don't know why there is such a difference from the Eliquid to the Yogurt. It's odd indeed!
