You’ve got some choices: you can not clean anything out, dump out any remaining juice, and simply vape through the flavor mix until the flavor runs clean or you can clean out the tank and replace the coil. Most people do the first one I suspect.

Welcome to the forum btw :)

Depends on the flavor. If it is similar and/or complimentary --say a vanilla and then changing to a coffee - I would just put the new flavor in. If it was a totally different flavor -- like a tobacco and then a cereal flavor, I would change the coil and rinse or thoroughly wipe out the tank.

just vape until it's as low as you are comfortable with (as you do NOT want the coil cartridge to dry out) and add the new flavour. It will have a bit of the old flavour but it will go away after a while, unless it's a very strong flavour.

Otherwise, consider a larger kit (mod and tanks that you can remove) that you can get more tanks and use one liquid per tank and flip them around as required.

I have a bottle of a flavorless juice called "Switch-It" which I will sometimes use to dilute the dregs of one juice, so it won't intrude too heavily on the flavor of another. It's handy to have around. I think there are a couple or three brands of this type of thing around in the US, Canada, and the EU.

Edit: how it works is that you vape the old juice diluted out of the tank before putting in the new juice,

How long would the coil I take out last when stored as Id assume it'll have liquid inside it? And if I done that should I still clean the tank with water?

I put them in a small plastic bag or back in the "coil" pack and seal with a bit of tape.
Sealed to keep the e-liquid liquid from absorbing moisture from the environment.
A month is the most I might keep a used coil in suspended animation.

Water if needed, a wipe with a vaper towel may work just as well.

Cheers

Fruit to fruit, not an issue, if anything, you might end up liking them mixed together.

If I change the coil I just put it in to use watermelon can I switch that coil out and keep in stored until I want to use watermelon again and then just put that coil back in?

Yes, but put it in something that the coil will not dry out.

Probably a few week... the bit of liquid in it has been heated, and liquid can get stronger in time, it may even go stale as it's been exposed to air and heat. Should anything contaminate it, it may end up tasting weird after a while. If it dries out, the coil would end up unusable.

If you clean your tank with water, make sure that it's dry, otherwise it will make your liquid (that you fill it after) diluted a bit, and could wick too much, or even taste off.

Lots of folks just save the coil and attach it to the juice bottle they were using, so they remember they have it. The coil should be fine, I would probably re-prime it to be on the safe side as it will have dried out some, but it should return to useful life fairly quickly. It can be one of the "cleanest" ways to change between flavors as you will have no flavor bleed.

Yes, you should clean (and dry) the tank and etc.

Not much I can say that hasn't already been said, if I'm changing flavors in one tank I rinse the tank out, change the coil, and I save the old coil if it's still good.

That said, I usually buy small tanks (the Goby tanks I'm using now I think are just 1.5 mL) and keep 2 or 3 of them around. Then to change flavors I just swap the tanks.

Well - I do not like either flavor personally :). I would think that those 2 flavors sort of would get along well together. I actually know folks that drink Strawberry watermelon juice with a splash of club soda and even mix vodka in so ..... I think it is doable.

I'd let the first flavor go low in the tank but not too low to burn and then just dump in the second flavor. Since they do play nice together it even gives you some options because you can mix the juices together in different concentrations. You can try higher watermelon, lower strawberry - higher strawberry lower watermelon or even half and half. It gives you a lot of options.

If that is not your thing then just let one flavor go low, add in the other and after a short period, the first flavor should go away/become more muted but not totally.

Also, in my opinion, those flavors tend to be very aromatic so if you go that route you still might be getting the two flavors mixed. I believe that is a 2ml tank so I think if you change flavors out you will never get one pure flavor without a total change of coil and cleaning. If you prefer just one pure flavor, then I would change the coil, rinse it (I think you can gently rinse it out), let it air dry and get all the first smell out and then start again. That would require some time down, though.
