I am having trouble charging my inferior e-cig..the brand is Imperial Smoke..although their website was never developed. It is a temp until my Joye 510 arrives.
Anyhow..it had some charge on it... came with a usb charger... when I plugged it in nothing happens but when I unplug it the orange light on the end flashes. Last night it wasnt vaping well so I plugged in to my car adapter and the orange light stayed on..I assume then it was charging. But when I shut the car off and tried to use the auxsillery to keep charging it did the samething as earlier mentioned. (I also started the car and still nothing)
This is my first one..also a temp... so any suggestions would be helpful ( I just need it to keep working until the new one arrives)..
Thanks

Flashing on the end of the battery usually means...

1. when not attached to charger means it needs to be charged (unless it is totally out of power and can't even light the LED)
2. When placed on a charger usually means it is starting to charge (flashes a few times then stops and LED stays off while it charges)

Is it an automatic battery? If juice ever got in the little hole at the threaded end of the battery it can mess up the drag-detecting switch and that can cause weird problems with the battery like it staying on or not detecting drags

To the repliers.. Well, I ran down to the smokeshop and picked up some e-liquid...refilled and tried to use my e-cig.. not much vapor so when I got home plugged it into the pc and..sure enough the "cherry" end is lit-up orange... so I am assuming once again that it is charging. This time since it is plugged into the pc, I will leave it plugged in for a few hours..while I go through withdrawls..lol.
The package that it came in states on the back...
When using e-cigerette, the indicator light of the battery flashes 10 times. (didnt happen for me) the battery is charged.
The indicator light in the cigarette will be red when charging
(actually is orange), and the indicator light will be off after fully charged. The time of charging is about 2.5 hours. Cut off the power supply of the USB charger and take it out.
Note: charge at least 12 hours for the first three times to reach the maximum capacity the battery.

I was unable to get it to do anything charging wise right out of the package, so these directions didnt really seem to help.... I appreciate the responses and will post here again if this time charging works.

Forgot to add it is an automatic...the one I am waiting for is manual.
