Hello,

I would like to order replacement heads for my Vivi Nova Mini and am confused with what resistance to buy. I used an Ego Twist C, like lots of TH and Vapor.

Also, can someone clear up something for me? Are there actually two different types of atomizers? I was under the impression that an atomizer (when used in the context of clearomizer, cartomizer, atomizer) would be the head that you just drop a few drops of juice into and take a few puffs and reload (no wicks, cotton, etc.) I am confused because when I go to order replacement heads for my VN it calls them atomizers, too. Is this just a ploy to confuse the heck out of us? Are atomizers actually the thing inside a clearomizer? Thank you.

The good thing is that you have a twist which is variable voltage, so you can adjust the voltage to whatever ohm your head is. At that point it is just preference. The head in you nova is an atomizer hence the name, atomizer head. The drip atomizers people on here discuss and actual rba's "rebuildable atomizers" if I am not mistaken. Even though the atomizers for vivi Novas are not labeled as rebuildable, they are still able to be rebuilt with wick and coil.

An atomizer is the heating element. It atomizes (vaporizes) the juice. Vivi novas use a wick with the coil of the atomizer wrapped around it. Dripping atomizers do not have a wick, and you drip the juice directly onto the heating element.

You have variable voltage, and thus can control how much voltage is sent through the coil.

I'll just leave this here.

1.8 ohm= 3.3- 4 volts
2.4 ohms= 4-4.8 volts
If you enjoy a strong warm vape you'll prolly like the 1.8 ohms IMO.

The Vivi heads contain a wick+ coil.
An atomizer/ atty is "usually" just a coil BUT sometimes has a metal bridge/ wick above it.
Cartomizers have a coil with filler/ stuffing around it.

The vision vivi novas I generally buy come in a box with 3 parts.
1). The nova bottom section with an atty already attached, generally a 2.4 ohm atty - this is all set up with the tank and drip tip set up.
2). A replacement atty of 1.8 ohm.
3). A replacement atty of 2.8 ohm.

I use these attys for a few days, then I re-wick them with silica and kanthal wire.

If you do a search for re-building a vivi nova atty, there's some really good threads on here. Also some really good step by step videos and photo guides.
Hope this helps :D
