I can only get two to three days out of a nautilus coil as well. I prime, I keep it low watts for the first day and I have a good mod to work with as well a vv twist style batteries. No matter what, two or three days. I won't push you to rebuildables, as I have not gone there either. I have never had any luck cleaning them, putting metal in a microwave doesn't sound all that safe either. I have just resolved myself to changing coils more often and thanking God I don't smoke anymore. coils are way cheaper than cigs...... Now, non nautilus coils from aspire, like for my K1, seem to last and last.

Do you know about pulling up the center pin on your battery?

The centerpin can get pushed down and not be making good contact

and how old is the battery?
No don't know about the pin. I alternate 2 to 3 batteries. when originally started happening with the kanger I bought new batteries and chargers. They are a few months old now. I've always hope to get a year out of them. When I change the coil all is good for a few days.

and is it the only battery that you have?

I know. I guess I'm just frustrated since they use to last me so much longer. I wondered that about metal in the microwave also. I thought maybe it was a misprint and meant drop it in after warming the liquid. Why haven't you gone to rebuildable? How long have you been vaping? what is k1?

Maybe you're just vaping more than you used too.
A coil will be good for a certain amount of liquid; lets say it's good for 10ml of a particular liquid; if you vape 10ml in a week, the coil lasts a week, but if you sit home on a sunday watching tv and vape all day and use up 10ml in a day, the coil lasts 1 day instead of a week.

If you switch from single coils vaping at around 5 watts, to dual coils vaping at around 10 watts, you're going to vaporize liquid faster, so the coil will only last half the time as before.

That completely makes sense. I think i am vaping more since I went down to 6mg nicotine.

Are the mods that much better? I always thought they were part of the rebuilding I didn't realize I could use my tanks with them. I've looked up the mods and thinking of getting the istick. That is the most affordable for me. The glass tanks are they breakable?

I do not know what you are responding to, but I suspect you might be interested in the difference between

spending money on a 'fixed battery' item
- such as the istick or mvp,
and replaceable battery mod
- such as the vamo,svd, zmax,tesla,e-lvt etc.

the istick and mvp are definitely economically worth it for new vapers; much better than eGo batts because of capacity/power.

Glass tanks are they breakable? Yes.

Unfortunately we havent reached that point yet where they make the glass tank but put a steel optional covering over it but we're getting there; there's a few examples of that already; but then on the most popular tanks you can get replacement glass tubes/tanks for them (I actually have a 10pack of protank2 glass tubes which I finally got from the china slow boat but I'll probably never use them because I mainly(only-so far) use 2 drippers so they're really just a backup plan)
