Help with CrownUWell tank

My tank fell twice and the glass shattered, I changed it with the spare one that comes with the box. But since that time the tank started to leak from the air holes. This only happens when I fill it from the top, and only happens once after filling immediately. If I fill from the bottom no leaking
Tried to fill a quarter, half and all of the tank and always the same result, a leak of about 8 drops at first and no leak after that
any help is appreciated

I'd just fill from the bottom...

Lol, thats what am doing now. Never took the top cover since that time
