I really want to make my own juice and I have purchased what I need to start. I made a 10 ml bottle of Cinnamon Red Hots TFA with 6 mg nicotine (100mg VG based from RTS Vapes) and 100% VG. I have a MVP 2 and I purchased bridge less atomizer for testing. I put the atomizer on my MVP put in 5 drops and did a toot and it was horrible. It burned really bad, what am I doing wrong? Also my juice was cloudy is that normal? I put .6mg of nic and a 12% flavoring the rest only VG. I am new to vaping but like to vape different flavors all day not just one flavor so I thought I would DIY. Is it the atomizer on my MVP? I don't want to build my own and drip just want to taste my flavors before making bigger batches. HELP

Yeah, just a bit confused on this side...

seeing a list like below would be awesome!

x.x mL of Cinnamon Red Hots TFA
x.x mL VG
x.x mL of Xmg/mL NIC
mixed it all up really really well

Have you tried any of it in something besides that bridge-less?

Have you tried anything else in the bridge-less?

Wattage?

Have you tried making unflavored and tried that?

EDIT: Took me forever to reply... 0 responses when I first started...

Any chance it's not cloudy and instead what you are seeing are just a lot of little bubbles from the shaking? If so, it will just take time for the bubbles to raise. I figure you already know this though, but I have to bring it up.

The only time so far that I have seen what I would call cloudy juice was 1) my juice waste bottle had a clear separation of densities and when I put a drop of a dark color liquid in it sank a ways and left a trail that looked like smoke coming off a stinkie sitting idle 2) through a polycarb tank that had a bunch of pitting (actually from cinnamon).

Just a guess but I suspect the 12% flavoring is too much for that flavor. I think if you were to try another mix and start out with 2% to 3% flavoring and 10% to 15% distilled water you would be happier. VG that has not been thinned does not wick well so on top of the high flavoring you may have been burning the juice.

using all vg is gonna look cloudy when first mixed. It will clear up. 12% seems pretty high for red hots. Id start around 3% and go up if needed. like the other poster said. make sure your bridgeless atty is blown out good. Id even clean it out with some vg first. you probably got a taste of that awful primer some companies put on the attys.

yes yuk it was nasty!! won't do that again. I will try all suggestions thank you so much. Im gonna get some DW and try again. Should I put the DW water in all of my juices I make in the future since I will mix them all VG?

A good rule of thumb when using high VG mixes is to thin with 20%, this includes all PG based flavors and DW. This ratio will work in most equipment. If you find it doesn't wick very well in one of your tanks you can just bump up that percentage to 22 or 23.

I think this may be an all of the above situation. Potentially, you have a primer on the bridgeless, too many watts (too much heat), too high a VG ratio (I would use at least 30% PG as a starting recommendation), red hots are not recommended above 10%, and the normal range is 5-10%, the juice was not fully blended, to say nothing of steeped, but other than that, you're good to go! :D:toast::thumbs:

I've mixed TFA Cinnamon Red Hot as high as 15% and it still tasted great, but I like my flavors to be really strong - tongue numbing strong. I'll probably drop to 10% on my next batch, though. I have to keep my voltage really low at 15%. My TFA Cinnamon Red Hot always turns cloudy as soon as I put the flavoring in. It becomes clear in my PT3 once the juice warms up, though. It has never seemed to affect the taste and I've gotten used to it. In fact, it helps me identify which tank it's in without having to check the label.
