I've never seen a sealed auto battery. When you say sealed do you mean the vent hole is on the side of the threads like the newer volt and not in the center? There has to be a airway somewhere to activate the auto sensor.

At any rate I wouldn't recommend dripping with either style auto battery, you will flood the atty from time to time, that's just a part of dripping. Get a manual battery, atty and drip tip. If you want to use LR then go with a fat battery like the Ego or Riva. If you want to stay with SR then the slim batts are ok but I don't really like those for dripping anyway because they wont' stand on the end and I like to stand my battery vertical when I'm dripping at the computer, etc., just a little more convenient for me at times that way.

If you're going to do it with that battery I would stick with SR, somewhere in the middle. Any atty in the mid 2.5ish ohm range or higher should be fine.

I definitely wouldn't go HR, that's usually well over 3ohm and would be a pretty weak vape on a 3.6v battery. I'd stick with 2.5ish to 3ohm, the battery should handle that fine.

Yes it is the Volt sealed automatic battery. I have been told to get a LR, then I have been told to get a HR. It is only for the sampling of juices and nothing more. Thank you

It's my understanding that these battery are not completely sealed......there is still a chance of getting juice in them. You should only use a completely sealed, manual battery for dripping on an atty.

It does take a while to get the hang of dripping. You definitely want a manual battery, because you will flood the atty quite often until you get the timing down just right. I drip all the time, not just to sample juices. Personally, I prefer LR as I seem to get better flavor and TH on them. But you need a larger capacity battery with LR attys as it tends to drain the battery quicker. And never use an LR atty on a high voltage PV, unless you want to burn them dead after a few vapes.

I love the 901 atty and vaporkings is a great place to get them.. You can get the bulk attys 10 for $40 shipped. I have a vv device and was using the 1.7 ohms but I just ordered more and got them at 2.9ohms. Dripping with a 901 is great but you have to watch the hole. If you drip too much, juice will leak out the hole. I drip 3 drops at a time. You can tell when it needs more. I also just order a drip shield at empiremods.com. good luck!
