I am looking to find a cooler vape with a dual coil on a Vector atty that is BF modded.I have tried different coil diameters,(2.0,2.5).shooting for 1.0ohm> all with 28g kanthal.I find that the coils ramp up slow and there is very little vapor production.I'm reading most are subohm with these builds.I tried .7 ish and the vape was harsh and hot.Even if I could replicate the vape of my little reomizer wit a little more vapor I would be happy.I'm just not seeing the advatage with duals.I,m sure I am missing something here and any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Your issue is common. It's easy to use the wrong wire gauge and/or wrong build type... especially when you use a unregulated device as your power source.

Learn how to use the Steam Engine coil modeling programe. With that, you can determine your "heat flux"... the radiant heat value of your build, as well as the "heat capacity"... the speed, or time-to-temperature of your build.

If using an unregulated mod, you can fine tune the wire gauge and coil count in parallel, to optimize the build / above values, with the Ohm's law parity of available wattage at 'X' resistance. In other words... "cool down" your build to optimize your vaping pleasure / satisfaction.

the advantage of duals is:
- if you have a mech mod, and you build a single coil and you are happy with it, you can add a second coil and get twice the vape.

Thanks for the links, good info there.I am using steam engine but paid no attention to heat flux.I have a stone cold coil with my build.I am getting around 200 flux with the single coil in my reomizer and will shoot for that with the duals, which means 29 or 30 awg wire.
