are you priming the new head before using it? I simply drop a few drops on the coil and top of the wicks before closing up the tank section. This will help get the liquid wicking better.

What ohm are they, most ship with the standard 2.2 or 2.8ohm, using a lower ohm like the 1.5's will heat hotter. If you are using a variable voltage device you may need to lower the voltage output

What kind of clearomizer are you using? With long wicks, it sounds like a top coil model, and you have to make sure the wicks are saturated with this type of device. Tipping up the clearo, so that it's vertical, is SOR with top coils. A dry vape -- taking a hit without hitting the power button -- can help, from time to time,

Also, after installing a replacement head and refilling the Atty with e-liquid, waiting a couple minutes so that the wicks can become fully saturated.

Welcome to the forum btw. :vapor:

Unless doing so will trigger some castration phobia, feel free to snip the wicks to the desired length. ;)

Even penny-pinching manufacturers from the Far East add a bit of length as the pre-built coil and wick assembly could end up in a variety of models. And, as the posters before me said, give it a few minutes to soak. 'appy vapin' :)
