Help with EVOD mega 1900mah

I bought a Kranger Tech EVOD mega 1900 mah 2 months ago. Lately I have noticed that the metal part gets really hot while using, I vape 2 or 3 times and I cant touch the metal anymore, it does not get hot while charging and I already changed the coil.

Do you think I need to replace this? Is this normal?

I assume you are using the same resistance coils you used before the problem?

Hi, the guy from the store replaced the coil, is this the same as the resistance coil? Sorry, I am not very literate on the topic

What part is getting hot? The battery or the tank that holds the juice.

Hi, it is the metal round part that is below the tank. above the on button.

coils come in different resistance values and such and if you use too low of a resistance coil for that battery it can cause issues including heating up.
Lemme check on the evod mega battery specs.
there are coils which will fit in that tank which should not be sued with that battery.

It should have a 1.5 ohm coil.
The coil will state the resistance on it's housing I think.
the most likely cause is that you have a coil in the tank with under 1.5 ohms resistance.

Thank you very much, I will get a 1.5 ohm resistance and give it a try. I touch the coil with my hands and feel it getting really hot so this might be the problem.
