New to forum, but have always wanted to join. 4 days no without a cig! Just bought my first ever mod: itaste 134.. Yes it's a beast, yes it may cost more than it should... But I just love the build quality and look. Anyways just wondering why it seems to shut off on its own sometimes? I don't think it's defective because it works beautifully and I just have to so the standard 3 click to start it back up again... Is the button maybe super sensitive and shutting off just from using? Wish it were a 5 click. Also I know it's not the 10 second cut off because when that happens u just have to click button once to get it going again (thought it was that but tested it). If anyone has any info would be greatly appreciated! :)

It took me a month or two to get used to the ignition button on the 134. It can occasionally "wiggle" on the contact a bit and get shut off. But like I said, once you get used to it you'll get the technique down and hardly have the issue. Eventually, you won't even notice the effort taken to work it properly. You also need to watch for the VW ring - it'll ocassionally slide off center and give an error code.

Edit: My avatar is the 134 with the iClear30S. Now I'm using a carto-tank: Picture in OP.

Working in a vape shop for about 2 years, we have seen this a few times, it always came down to one of two issues, the button press is a bit weak, its a monster button on a very small trigger point, so not having a straight on press often results in the trigger being pressed a number of times inadvertently. the other is the spring not being tight enough that the slightest bump will reset the mod.

Thank you all so much. I have now started to use a firm/consistent press on the firing button. Been pressed about 40 times so far & all is well. I also tried to shake the device/ try to see if I could jar the battery off contact and no luck.. Still had connection whole time, so I don't think it's a battery/contact issue.
This is a great community! I look forward to being a member for a very long time!! :)
