Hi there, I need some help here... Although I am a " well seasoned " vaper.... Basically, I have about 10 clearos which are some Iclear 30 ( the mop coil kind ) and some Iclear 30s... I have been using them for about 4 months, and unfortunately bought many replacement coils.... So I don't want to throw them out... Problem is, the screw bottom doesn't screw anymore, either on the evic or mvp , or any other mod. I assume the ridges in the screw part got worn out, because I don't think it is a problem with the mods or the 510 adapters, as other atomizers from other brands screw just fine. Is there any way to fix the problem ? I tried to find some replacement bottoms but nobody seems to sell such things... How can I continue using them ? Any ideas?
Thanks !

hardware store, it's silicone tape, that plumbers use to seal threaded pipe joints. That white stuff you see on the joints, the tape kind of mashes when the parts are screwed together. (At least, i think that's what was meant.) But it's for sealing joints.
When you say it doesn't screw anymore, do you mean it screws on ok but never tightens? That stuff should last forever, unless you cross-thread it and force it, or over-tighten, sothe threads get damaged.

FWIW it's called "teflon tape" in the US. Not too sure about Canada. It might work or it might not, depending on how badly 'stripped' the threads are.
In the future, once the electrical connection has been made between the power unit and the atty it only takes another quarter turn or so. The atty doesn't have to be screwed on super tight. If the thread tape doesn't work you can probably sell your unused coils on the classifieds here if you decide to go with a different atty.

My vamo v2 did the same thing and i used thread tape and it worked fine now if you keep taking it off and on you will have to replace the tape every so often but it will fix your problem, it will give the threading something to grab on when you tighten it down, now if you throw it in your pocket then it could pop off its just a temp fix so you can use up your extra coils, or you could buy a new tank.
