I'm relatively new to vaping. I bought a couple MVPs and a couple Protanks. The first time I topped off the tank the new liquid turned dark and tasted burned. I ended up dumping the liquid, and replaced the head. I just filled the tank and screwed it onto the MVP, and it won't fire. But, the light stays on for several seconds. It normally shuts off as soon as you release the button. I put the tank on the other MVP to see if it happened there as well. It did. Can someone please help? Thank you!

head screwed in all the way? 510 connection center post recessed or touching the sides?
Everything looked to be fine. It was centered, and flush with the bottom. Then I held it up to a light, and saw that both ends of the coil wire were not clipped flush and were in fact making contact with the edges, I clipped them with an old fingernail clipper and it appears to have taken care of the problem. It fires, and the light no longer stays on for several seconds after letting go. Is this what a short is? Would it have destroyed the MVP? Do I have any need to still be worried about this thing? Thanks again for the help!
