Okay guys, so this is my first tank. After much research and deliberation, I decided I wanted my first to be a J-Tank and I waited patiently for them to come back in stock. Finally snagged one the other night. I love buying from ElectroNicStix because Ogden is just a 4 hour drive from me, so I get anything I order within 48 hours. Received my J-Tank last night.

I purchased the 3ml tank with 4 pre-punched 510 cartomizers (standard resistance). I followed the filling guidelines on the online shop's product page for the 3ml J-tanks, and I'm experiencing some technical difficulties. I really, REALLY want to get this thing running so I can do a review as every review I've seen on these tanks has been stellar.

Basically what I'm experiencing is what sounds sort of like... a clog? I will get very little to no vapor on the first hit which is usually followed by a second hit of juice in my mouth. Both feel akin to sucking a bowling ball through a straw. After the second hit, upon inspection and removal of my drip tip I usually am greeted with a flooded carto. Obviously I'm doing something wrong here.

I'm using the tank on my E-Power 14650. Didn't want to use my Saber Touch because it's not regulated, and I tried using it with my little VV box mod and.... nothing.

You guys are the experts. Really hoping someone can help me out here. Thanks, all.

I'm sure someone with specific J-Tank experience will chime in with a fix for this but having made a few carto tanks myself and fixed some issues I encountered this sounds like an airflow issue to me. After I fill my carto tanks I will usually hold a piece of tissue over the connection end and give a few hard blows through the drip tip, or whatever tip you have on there, and that usually clears out any juices that accidentally got into the tube and seems to stop the carto from then sucking up too much juice. Worth a try.... Also check that any airflow holes at the connection, carto bottom etc are clear and when you suck or blow you can hear air flowing.

Oh no, I just got my Jtank on Sunday and my brick and mortar supplier that I bought it from is closed today. So you had to change out the carto, there was no fixing it. Im having the exact same problem as you but I only got the 1 carto it came with. Is there a way to fix it. Even when not on any device it is plugged. I can barely suck through it at all.

Try aligning the air hole with a paper clip. That's the only thing I can think of. Good luck!

Oh man, I dont think I know which hole you are talking about. There are the two holes for the juice to seep into, I can see the filler material behind them. Then there is a hole from top to bottom which I cleared out with a paper clip. Then I see two small holes in the threaded part that are really small, I cant get even the tiny paperclips through those holes. I dont know what you mean by lining them up, Ive never seen what it is supposed to look like, just what I have.

i use the liquidnator, its a carto issue. either the drill or punch went into the middle straw and your straight sucking it in. try first to blow out carto, fire it a couple times and see if that fixes it, if not the carto is damaged. i have hacksawed slots in cartos no issue but with a hole punch i went too far and damaged the inner tube, and thats what i got

I would also say carto issue. My husband uses a dremel tool to slot mine, so I get lots of filling to my cartos. The awesome thing about the jtank is that you can buy it with or without the carto.

I cannot stand the tanks that come with a carto that has just a punch in it. In that case, I usually just pre-fill the carto once i've got it in the tank.

This is most definitely a carto problem. I just received my first J-Tank as well and had the same problem. I accidentally dry fired it for maybe 4 seconds when fiddling with the battery screw. Dry firing it for that little bit made the thing burnt and hard to suck. Then comes the juice right up the middle and into my mouth (Yuck). I put a new one in and was extra careful. That fixed everything. i ended up taking the other one apart and sure enough, burned a hole right through the straw! It was literally like putting a drink straw in the tank and sucking. LOL.

What i found is the EGO-T atomizer(The MEGA type) seems to hit and taste much better then the cartos. Electronicstix sells a great LR model on there site. And it's nice to change flavors on the fly. Holds almost 3 ML i think. maybe 2.8.
