New to this forum and ecigs too! I recently stopped smoking and am super excited that I haven't had a real cig in over two weeks!!! However I'm encountering a slight problem... I got the joye ego mega bundle from litecigusa and purchased a couple of cartomizers to go with it... I smoked a lot and knew I'd need something that would last longer than cartridges... so I figured out how to fill the cartomizer and had no problems with the first one. In fact I loveeee it! Now I'm on my second and am having issues... This cartomizer isn't screwing onto the battery the way the other one did. The other one lined up with the battery light but this one will screw on all the way but doesn't line up. It's more to the side. I'm kind of OCD so that really bothers me... Also I tried a French vanilla flavor with it and either it's plain gross or it's not working. I'm hardly getting any vapor out if it and it tastes disgusting...

Is it just me or could this thing be faulty??

Screwing the carto on and lining up is likely just a variance on the manufacturer, fairly normal.

The french vanilla, may just be disgusting, may be the particular suppliers blend. More likely it's just a plain vanilla, and it's not really a familiar flavor. Most often you taste vanilla in combination, vanilla ice cream (mmm cream, sweet flavors) vanilla taffy (extreme sweet sugar flavor) vanilla mint, vanilla tobacco, etc... Vanilla makes other thing taste better, doesn't stand alone near as well. Save the juice to mix a little into other flavors, it's where vanilla works best. :)

The cartomizers are made my pressing the atomizing part into a plastic housing, they are probably fed by a machine which does not align them in any particular direction before pressing them in so when they bottom out the direction may vary. If it is less than a quarter from lining up the way you like it you can sand just a little bit of the plastic off the bottom, with a very fine sand paper, to make it turn more, but if it is any more than a quarter turn you risk pushing the center of your battery down which is not a good thing.
