Help with Kanger Aerotank please!

Okay I tightened the airflow ring to close the airholes and now I cannot loosen it to save my life. I have neuropathy in my hands so I can't imagine how I tightened it enough for it to be this stuck but it is. There is nothing good to hang onto on this thing to get leverage to unscrew it and I do not have a lot of strength in my hands anyway. Please help!

I have those old rubber pad jar openers on my counter for such an occasion. Have come in handy when tearing my KFL's apart.

This should do the trick, or at least something else to help you get a grip on the thing. I'd try throwing the Aerotank in a plastic bag and then into your freezer (for just a couple minutes), and then try to twist the ring again using jar openers, work gloves, a rubber band, a paper towel, a shirt, or a cat. Wait, don't try the last one.

I use the edge of a dime. Works everytime

its a bad design. it does that when you were opening it to refill, it got over twisted. i use a pair of pliers to loosen it. The airflow controller on the new aerotanks are way better.
