Help with Kraken

Got my Kraken clone in this morning and put a dual coil build in it using 10 wraps each with 28g and cotton wicking. I've run a tank and a half through it so far and am still getting a strong Kanthal flavor. Will the coils eventually break in or is it possible that I have done something wrong? It seems to be wicking fine as I am not getting any dry hits so I don't think that is the problem. Thanks in advance for any insight.

You sure you are tasting kanthal and not some remnants or residue of machine oil?

Good point. I had actually just thought of this shortly before your post. I made the rookie mistake of not cleaning my atty before building. I should know better. [emoji17]

I will clean and rebuild it tonight. I am also going to toss the washers that came on the positive post. I was reading in another forum about how some Kraken clones have come with washers that aren't stainless steel and that too could contribute to a nasty flavor.
