No real fix for this one I know of. You tried the only trick I know of already. A lot of juices just taste bad to a lot of people. It seems you managed to buy one you don’t like. happens to everyone. This is why there are tasting bars at vape shops. Still they can be of limited use.

is the lime portion what is overbearing in the melo? i have found that some citrus juices get gnarly and outright gross at high power, had a lemonade that would bring tears to your eyes if it went in a subohm tank. you may look at a higher resistance coil or even move back to a MTL tank like a nautilus 2 or the like for the cheesecake.

Hi LeeLee,,,waving......

Well, not wasted really. When you cut those flavors in half did you put the new juice back into the same coil that had the stronger juice? If so, some of the stronger ejuice is still in there affecting taste. If you want, try putting just a ml or 2 of base(nic/pg/vg), with 0 flavoring into the tank with the coil and vape it down. Flavoring will get less intense as you do this. May save you from having to try to wash out the coil and then waiting for it to dry. Just a thought.

Let us know how it goes.......

You can use Triton coils as well with the Melo and they offer MTL coils.

Aww. That is a shame. Bonskibon is correct is saying other coils also fit in the melo tanks. That is why the melo tanks are so popular as they do both MTL and DL coils. Just be sure to read the descriptions on the vendors web sites to double check that the coils you are buying indeed fit in the melo tanks.

:)

DL is kind of a different experience, I don't enjoy a lot of flavors. However, you can still use the tanks with different coils, like the EUC coil which has a variety of resistances. I would try a different juice though and yes, you can soak your coils in water, or even something like everclear (and possibly the tank, if the juice is just lingering) and try something else (after rinsing and drying them thoroughly, you can use a hairdryer on low setting). But, either way, those tanks can still be used, they're pretty versatile.

Good luck,

Anna
