Help with mixing liquids

Ive only been vaping about a month and just ran out of the bullspit cartridges that came with my embarrassment of an ecig, and i found that directly dosing the liquid out of the cart onto the bridge works far better. I dont want to go drop another $25 on 15 cartridges, so what do i need to know for beginning to mix my own liquids?

even directions to a previously existing thread with this info would be great.

i prefer tons of throat hit and vapor, i rolled my own cigarettes or smoked 2 packs a day when i was using analogs.

Throat hit and vapor volume may not easily go hand in hand together.
Throat hit can come from a few different variables: PV device, flavor (ie; cinnamon may product more throat hit than watermelon), and finally NIC level (Higher Nicotine levels produce more hit)...

PV device can also determine vapor volume. I use a 510 which is known to have a hotter burning Atty, ie; more throat hit, supposedly less vapor than other devices.

But, I've had no issues with vapor volume so far.

I would check out the DIY juice forum for recipes, etc..

DIYFlavorshack.com can get you started with flavors, NIC juice, mixing kits etc..

[...] 2 drops, any residue on my dropper tip, I wipe off on the blue foam in my cart, and vape away...

Try this:

Remove the round plastic plugs from the mouth end, and the blue foam, and cut the bottom of the reservoir from one of your carts (you can hold the cart with pliers and use a drill if you're not a spaz). You'll wind up with a round tube with a couple of longitudinal dividers in it. Drip straight through, onto the atty. Vape as usual. The cart becomes nothing more than a plastic mouth-piece, or an atomizer extension.

Works for me.
