Help with DIY mixing

Hi,

I just tried mixing my own liquid for the first time and it didnt work out very well, The mix just stunk of nicotine and the flavours didnt smell very strong. I used an online calculator but i think i may of got it a bit wrong. I have these liquids:

Nicotine in VG liquid (30ml) (52MG)
PG liquid (100ml)
Flavourart flavouring (Red energy, Pineapple and Coconut)

I just want to make a 5ml juice with the red bull flavour at 18MG strength but im not sure how to do??
Also not sure on what flavour % would taste best.

If somebody could tell me what quantities would work out that would be great.

Yes, definitely pop into the DIY subforum for some help.

It would probably help if you tell a little bit about what you did do. What was the recipe you used? Flavoring percentages are a little subjective, but if you tell what percentages you did use, people can suggest what percentages to try next.

If I use e-juice me up for the following:

52 mg/ml VG nic
8% red energy
5% pineapple
2% coconut

[The flavor ratios are going to depend really, on what you think the dominant flavor should be, and how strong each flavor is. I just picked those 3 percentages at random.]

for a final PG/VG ratio of 50/50% (can't go much lower VG than this because your nic is in VG) and a nic concentration of 18 mg/ml, this is the recipe I get:

1.73 ml nicotine (52 mg/ml in VG)
2.12 ml PG
0.39 ml VG
.4 ml red energy
.25 ml pineapple
0.1 ml coconut

Thanks for your help spazmelda. I dont have VG seperate to the Nicotine though its in the same bottle. I just need to find out how much PG to add to the Nic Vg liquid and then how much Red Energy flavouring to add. Ill have to try the DIY section again soon and see if i can get on.
