Help with New Rcr123a batteries and my precise 18650

I just got a set of four rechargeable rcr123a batteries. I have charged them and put them in my precise but nothing happens when I push the button. Does anyone know why? It feels like everything is making contact as the throw on the button is even less than with the aw 18650 that comes with the pv. I'm assuming I'm using a LR 510 atty. It came with the precise as well.

What am I doing wrong?

Is it working properly with the 18650? You might want to repost this in the Super T sub-forum. You'll definitely get the best answers there.

yeah the 18650 works fine. It's weird.

If your using an LR atty at 6.0v, thats a problem right there. If the atty doesnt pop right away, it will taste horrible. It could be drawing too much amperage for the PCB on the batteries to handle and it could be tripping. Try putting the batts back on the charger for a minute(to reset the PCB) and try them with a regular atty(3.5 ohms is pretty nice at 6v)

Should be better, they usually float in the 3.0 ohm range

You know what they're actually working now. So I need to get some HR atomizers? What's your experience with 6 volts and cartomizers?

Using a cartomizer at 6V might make your juice taste burnt because it's going to generate a lot of heat. Using some of my cartomizers at 5V was like vaping plastic.

Yeah it doesn't taste great. What would you suggest a 306 or a HR 510? Are clearomizers working well?

Clearomizers probably won't work very well at 6V because their top ohm is only 3. The only HV atties I've used are 801s and I enjoyed those!
