Buddy of mine that got one of the polished ones at the same time as me just suggested that today. He found some polishing compound in his air hole (could not get a draw at all). I plan to take it apart tonight ... completely disassemble and put it in a heated ultrasonic cleaner for about 30 minutes.. then poke at all the holes just to make sure.
I'll update after that is done if it is work.
Thanks all.

"The Buddy" here: I had polishing compound in my air channels, most definitely. Also got a KFL+ that had what looked like a piece of a polishing wheel in its airchannel, rubber - greenish. Had to take a needle to get it out. So far I'd say between the 6 different KFL's and clones, at least 3 of them have had obstructions caught up in the air channels from the manufacturing process. I think this explains a lot of the hit or miss some people complain about, maybe even some of the gurgling.
My take away on this is, check your holes whenever you get any of these with the adjustable draw.
Stuff just gets stuck in there and the cleaning they may or may not go
through doesn't always get everything.
