Help with V2 clearos.

I have a few V2 clearos that I decided to clean so I could switch liquids. Washed them with vodka and they cleaned out fine. However, now I get a burnt taste from them after 4-5 puffs... like they aren't wicking quickly enough or something. Any ideas?

Its a top wick clearo yeah? Are you doing the "tilt and swirl"?

If you pull the top off the head you can see the coil, if covered in gunk or the wicks look bad its garbage basically. I always lifted the top tube cap over the wicks slightly with needle nose pliers when i used them to get better flow. The kanger esmarts are cheap and way better if youre looking for 808 clearos

I actually have some cartos I can use at the moment, and an MVP coming in the mail. Just curious if there was an easy fix.

I have tried the tilt method... still only good for a few puffs, then I have to put it down for awhile.

Yay MVP (that's what I'm using right now actually). I personally think the problem is that the CE style clearos just suck. I've used a few and I never liked them. Bad Flavor, a pain to prime, just not great. I would suggest putting down a bit of money and getting a more high end clearo system if you want to stick them. I personally like cartos but I've got the iClear 30 and I like it but I've also got some DCTs and a rba so its best to experiment and see what you like.

I'm getting an IClear 30 with my mvp, and I ordered some cheap CE4 clearos to try. I like the carto experience myself... just hate filling them. What's a good/affordable 510 carto?

I use the SmokTech DCT, they are a little bit of a pain to fill but after you get use to it its not so bad. I acutally have one on my MVP right now and am happily vaping away.
