Hello all,

Well, I can't justify holding out on ordering from TV any longer. Although I have plenty of liquids from various places, I've only come across 2 that would even have a chance to be considered as part of a permanent rotation. And after reading the reviews, I figure it's about damned time I treat myself to some high-end juice.

But enough about that. Here's the dilemma:

I primarily vape using my KR808 5v passthru (with cartos), and use 3.7v batteries while out and about. Yes, the KR808 is known for being a little lackluster in vapor production, but I like the flavor and TH.

I'm having trouble deciding on what amount of VG to have added to my order. Will 20% be enough? I'd go ahead and do 35% if needed, just didn't want to have too much, to where it didn't wick as well into the carto filler.

The only other mixture I've used is 50/50, which seemed to be a little thicker than what cartos prefer (especially after 3-4 refills).

Or, should I stop crying about it and just order whatever and trust that it will be great? :w00t:

Thanks,
-adam

p.s. If anyone cares, or if it makes any difference, I plan to order AFB, Blueberry Cheesecake, Peach Melba, and Cafe Machiatto.

/places hands together in a semi-praying pose and taps fingers against each other in sequence while whispering "eggggsellent..."

But no, seriously, I'm fully anticipating junking the 40+ misc sampler bottles I have on my desk right now. But until then, I'll patiently vape what I have (now affectionately called "Skunk") and dream of spicy Atomic Fireball, and the smooth tang of Peach Melba...

...or at least that's what they taste like in my dreams...

Good call, IMO. After a few TV orders, I've come to prefer around 20-35% VG in my cartomizers; the consistency and vapor are perfect. 50% does fine but it just takes a little longer to sink into the cartomizer.

Are you using 3.7v or 5v? One of the reasons I am trying a 5v device is to get more vapor out of the cartos and I have wondered if using 30% VG would make up for the lack of vapor at 3.7v.

When I vape cartomizers, about 90% of the time it's on 5v/6v. Cartos rock at high voltage once you get used to refilling them more often and taking shorter drags (they do burn easy).

When I vape cartos at 3.7v, I find myself cursing the 5-second cutoff on my manual batteries. With the same 20-35%VG juice as I use on high-voltage, though, I can take longer drags with multiple presses and get pretty good vapor. I guess I've just been spoiled by HV.

But yeah, I've found all-PG juice in cartomizers on 3.7v is a recipe for poor vapor production. I think you'll find a bit of VG helps that (on any voltage).
