Help with VG Power?

For a number of reasons, I have switched to 100% VG. I used to vape 70/30 in a PV with a 3ohm, single coil, two-hole cart (in a tank) at 4.5v. I find this set-up carmalizes the VG into a light-brown and gives it a burned taste. Also, the carts last one day vs over a week on PG. Do you see a flaw in my rig? Thanks for your ideas.

Those two pre-punched holes have no shot of wicking good enough against 100% VG. Grab a dremel tool and slot those carto's I think pbusardo has a video on how to do it. If that isn't an option pickup a punching tool and make those holes about 4x the size they are now.
