I am now on my second 21st Century Blackjack e-cig. And yet again the thing has stopped charging, vaping, etc. I'm sick of this piece of junk. The quality is horrible. Are there any reliable e-cigarettes out there who will use 21st century's cartridges? Or what would be a great all around, easy to use e-cigarette that doesn't just stop working?

I don't know exactly what model of theirs you're using but if I were you'd I'd step away from that type and size of e-cig for the rest of my life.

If you want an ecig that's about the size of a super king, get a volt from smokeless image. You'd save a ton just on cartos alone, not to mention the actual unit. Some price jump on those blackjacks. $8.95 on volt prefilled cartos right now and a whopping $40 odd difference just on the e-cig kit. Use the code 'heatwave' for something like 23% off if it's still valid.

But, I'm sure others will tell you, look into something like the ego or riva from somewhere like libertyflights (click the discount code banner on the top of the page to get 10 - 20% off). Not much more expensive, huge, huge difference in battery life for an ecig that's the same length, just thicker. We're talking instead of 2 hours you'd get 10 hours or more.

What I do? I have an ego with an 808 adapter and use kr808D-1 cartomisers. If you like cartomisers, get 510 cartomisers, fill them yourself and put them on ego or riva batteries.

Good luck to you man.

Still working as of yesterday.

I'm on the fence myself about picking up a second XL PCC from there; at that price. They can fit my mini's with cartos loaded on, so that's 9 cartos in my pocket (2 on the mini batteries, 6 in the carto spots, and 1 on the 808 in hand).

Even minis don't seem that small when you have 2020mah that fit in one pocket, with 9 cartos to match.

I recommend manual batteries which are much harder to damage or kill with juice leaks.

See KR808D-1 manuals if you want prefilled cartomizers you can top off with more juice to get at least several days of good use out of each - Vapor4Life, SmokelessImage Volt, Bloogplanet and I only recommend manuals because when a cartomizer leaks it will leak right over where an auto battery can be damaged, Manuals also make it easier to get a good hit.

Or if you are willing to fill blank cartomizers, I recommend Joye 510 manual w/ Boge standard resistance blank cartomizers (or the long version, Joye 510 mega xl) Not Joye 510-T - if you want to try tank atty and tanks you can put them on a normal 510 battery.

Those are the only two slim ecig models I recommend. The smaller sizes of each are about 100mm long with cartomizer. The larger 280-320mah KR808D-1 is about 120mm long w/ a carto, the Joye 510 mega xl is 128mm long w/ a carto.

Cartos are just for juices you know you like and I find thin clear juices work best in my cartos. For thicker juices and testing juices I use an atomizer and a drip tip (drip tips are only recommended for use on manual batteries). 510 comes with atomizer. A DSE901 atomizer will usually fit on KR808D-1.

Slim ecigs must use standard resistance atomizers and cartomizers. If you want to use the hotter low resistance parts then you has to get a big ecig - fat battery or mod, with 450mah of charge or more.

NO WAY!! Ouch!

------------------------------

Juice leaks into the hole into an automatic battery and shorts it out. The manual 808d batteries are sealed (Bloog is fully sealed) so that can't happen but you need to press a button for it to work, not just draw on it. I'm like the sloppiest cato filler and killed 1 auto (at party with many beers in me). As long as you gently blow through the filled carto to get out the drop or 2 you will be set.
