im Jon. i stopped smoking last monday using a 21st century rechargable gas station e-cig (aka junk) but it got me off the smoking kick. so far my ecig has saved me a little over 35 bux cash and payed for the cig. but i finnaly got sick of the re-charging and pricy cartomizers and refilling them in a pain. so i picked up a joyetech ego-t from my brother in-law for cheap and i love it so much more!! im currently waiting on my camel menthol 30ml to get here from Vapor Bomb. he threw in 2 bottles of juice but there both no-nic. there still good to smoke on but i find myself packin my 21st still for that fix. hopfully it'll be here soon i did first class mail. ok sorry for running on. just wanted to say even though this is my first post ive been looking here alot the last few days and this site has helped me with alot of stuff already! ill definitly be hanging out here if theres anything you all think i should know about vaping or this joyetech let me know!! thank you all very much!!

Hi Jon .... I know how it is waiting for juice to come. And it can take a while to find one you like. My advice ..... buy something you "like" while finding the "perfect" juice, and buy early! It never fails that your mail lags over a weekend as you're running low. Better to have something OK than nothing at all ....

Welcome to the group and the eGo will be a great device. I'd ditch the atomizers cartridge set up in favor of the cartomizers. You can get these from a vendor on ecf for about 8 bucks for 5. Just make things easy on yourself at least at first. Good luck.

Hi, Jon and welcome! So glad you decided to jump in and post and congrats on switching over!!!!!

I'm sure you already know from looking around here but I'll say it anyway, LOL....TONS of great folks here and if you have questions, want to comment or rant or joke around and just chit-chat there's always someone around who's bound to chime in or play along (I probably won't be the one answering the questions, though...been at this 2 years and I still consider myself a vaping newb. I'm pretty good for listening to rants, giggling at jokes or bending ears, though )

I'm sure you've already thought about it but make sure you get yourself a few more batteries (more eGo styles if you really like the one you have or branch out. Depends on how adventurous you're feeling and what your needs and finances are). Trust me, staring at the light on a charger waiting for it to go green takes F O R E V E R!

thanks for the kind replys everyone!!! jbank, im currently using the tank system it just seems to be easyer for me. is this a good way to go or would you not recomend it? and why? thank you.

i have 2 batterys (well 2 complete ready to go ego's) this will have to hold me over for a bit as money has been very tight. i would like to pick up 1 or 2 more for them long road trips home and back to see the parents. geuss i could buy a car charger though? hmm time to do a google search for car chargers and batts!! lol dammit i can see my pay check vanishing again. no one told me this vaping stuff was so much fun lol

oh! and yes i thought about the liquid thing, thats why i ordered the camel menthol from vapor bomb i know i like that one already. this friday ill be buying a sample pack or 2 just so i can try a bunch out any reccomendations? i would like to stick with vapor bomb as my juice supplyer, what does everyone think about them?

Congrats Detroit!!!..welcome to ECF lots of great info and people to help in here!!!...just keep reading and asking questions, trying different juices untill u find ones u like....my advice always have backup batts, attys, carts and juice...and backups for those and u will be all set...

i just noticed that atty's for this thing are nearly 17 bux each. please dont tell me these go bad often! lol right now i got 2 batts,2 attys,4 tanks,the drip system part (sorry dont know the word for it) and 30ml of juice. what would you buy right off the batt if you had to do it one at a time? more juice will be orderd this weekend so im not worryed about that part.

side note... 2 of my attys are the kind what take the tank, then i have this other one that has the cotton deal inside of it (i dont like this one) what one is best as far not waisting jucie in your guy's/gal's opinion?

Your Ego can use cartos too. Here's the link to CCV, they have a good price when you buy 15 at a time (also get a syringe and a drip tip included with that). Good to have some extra cartos and an extra atty on hand just in case somethign goes SNAFU

Friendly bunch here. Ask any question, you get 10 different people answering with various opinions (vaping is as much a personal style as music). Which means you get a good list of pros and cons to make an informed choice.

I went from a gas station cig, Mistic, to an Ego-t. Good choice. A friend of mine and her husband never got past the gas station e-cigs.

Welcome to ecf sir. If you start to have trouble with the tanks give boge 2.0 cartomizers a look. They work great on an ego battery.

you know them gas station cigs are annoying and a hassle but i gotta give them credit, after havin that cheap thing for 1 day i put down the pack and havent touched it sence. i am VERY happy with my ego-t purchase though, a much better device.

im glad everyones so freindly here seeing all the nice comments on these forums seems to put me in a good mood. might be because i deal with cranky foundry workers all day
