Ok Im in a little dilema, I have a Provari, Svd, and many ego twists I love all of them. My question is I was looking the Reo Grands, and Im not sure if I want a VV grand, or the regular Grand, I have no intention of using rba just not experienced enough yet so manly cartomizers, What would you buy I really want to get into bottom feeding device?

If your happy with vv, go with that version. If you have not messed with mechs. in my opinion you don't know what your missing.

FYI you can also use carts, etc with a mech. just need to get them with lower ohm coils.

Reo's really shine with bottom fed RDA's. Maybe do some research and watch some videos on how to build the coils. dripper coils are extremely easy to build, and much easier than genny's in my opinion. you won't be disappointed with a Reo and RM2.

I guess it would depend on how much you wanted VV. Whether or not you are planning on getting into RBA's in the future, you can still buy carto/clearos/atomizers that are low resistance. The whole RBA on top of a mod is so users can use atomizers with low resistance to get more power out of the mechanical mod, despite its limitations in voltage (3.4-4.2).

You should probably get some atomizers, not cartomizers. The main draw of a 'bottom feeder' is so you are basically dripping (putting some liquid straight on the atomizer) without all of the hassle.

I'll offer my perspective, as it is somewhat relevant to your inquiry.

I had not dripped since I first purchased my first mod (an AltSmoke Silver Bullet) over a year ago. I didn't care for dripping, but granted I probably didn't learn the methodology needed and gave it up after a few unsatisfactory attempts.

Jump to just about 2 months ago. Friends here had been urging me to get a bottom feeder mod, because I had suggested that they try one after having major issues with thick juices like Boba's Bounty clogging their cartotanks prematurely. I reasoned that they needed a wickless delivery device, which would be a drip atomizer. Bottom feeder mods provide the flavor of dripping on an atomizer with the convenience of a tank. Apparantly, my suggestion was a major hit for them and they were encouraging me to try one, too.

I decided to purchase a VMod-XL bottom feeder from Vapage when they were having a major sale. Normally they run $90 a la carte, but during the sale I got mine for $60. Well, after a slight learning curve in learning how to "squonk" the juice tank to feed the atomizer, the VMod is getting plenty of daily attention from me. I have been extremely impressed.

I had been a die hard cartotank person using primarily Provari's. I have at least 10 - 12 tanks going simultaneously, each with their own flavor, and adjusting the Provari's voltage to each one to taste. Well, I have not missed variable voltage with the VMod at all. Perhaps its the full unmuted flavor of the juice in the 2.0 ohm atomizer which seems great at 3.7 volts.

No one can predict if you will miss variable voltage with a fixed voltage Reo or other mechanical bottom feeder. I'm just sharing my experience that I don't miss it with the VMod.

Vapage VMod-XL with the optional faux burrel wood shell case and a Sagewood Glass drip tip. Nearly two days on an AW 18650 2000 mAh IMR battery. Three days between juice refills with the 9 ml tank. Juice used: home mix of 1/3 Copper Creek's Coffee, 1/3 My Freedom Smoke's Sweet Cream, & 1/3 Evo's Black Diamond tobacco flavor juice.
