So ive had my reo grand for a couple of months an so far i love it. i just recently cleaned my mod and put everything back together but i have a problem now. everytime i press the button, it takes forever to heat up. the batteries are freshly charged and yet it takes about 10-15 seconds to even heat up. Can anyone here tell me whats going on? any help would be appreciate!

What atomizer are you using? Are you using an RM2? If so, check that your post screws are tight. Also, make sure the battery is charged fully. Just stay on here and we can trouble shoot through this I'm sure. When you say you "put everything back together" what do you mean? How did you go about cleaning it?
Make sure the firing pin is making solid contact with the battery, if its to far back or to far forward it won't get a solid current.
A big clue on this one is needing to push in the top of the battery or roll it to get a proper fire.

It is on a RM2 atomizer. I unscrewed everything but the bottom spring. The batteries are fully charged. It kind of worked but it still takes a bit of time to heat up.
When you're cleaning it, you don't need to unscrew anything. Just take the bottle out and the battery out. Run it under hot water. There's a maintenance video on the Reosmods site. Check, like Mrs. C mentioned, to see if the firing pin is hitting the battery dead center. You unscrewed the delrin cover, right? You didn't mess with the firing pin, did you? Maybe you just need to apply some Noalox. Does it have a gold spring or a silver spring?
If you removed the nipple that hold the battery positive contact in place make sure you got it tight when you put it back together.
Have you removed the wick and watched the coil heat up. Is the coil tight on the post. Make sure a wire is not broke or loose. If the screws cut the coil wire it may not be tight.

Both the firing pin and bottom spring are gold. I adjusted the firing pin a little bit and it seems to work a little bit better. I've never received any nolax when I ordered my reo. Is there any substitute for it?
Deoxit Gold will work. Usually have to order it online. You can usually find Noalox at Lowes in the electrical section. If you don't go below .5 Ohm you probably don't need it. Only a white eraser or alcohol dipped Q-tip is usually all that's needed to clean firing pin.
