Hello everyone! I'm brand new at this. Just bought a Buck Naked express and a couple of juice flavors. I put the juice in just like the guy showed me to do, let it set for a bit and everything. I hold the little button down and inhale and it tastes like a match. So gross! If I limit my inhale time to about a second it's fine and the flavor is good. If I go any longer than that it stays burning. Even if I wait a while before each inhalation. Any help is appreciated!

Your problem is that your tank isn't wicking correctly. I just did a search and saw the kits, the both look like the clearo tanks have top wicking heads in them. I'd suggest you tilt the device, really soak those wick, then vape a bit, and repeat process as needed. Best results will come from really soaking those wicks but don't turn it completely upside down as it will leak all over, just sort of tip it enough to get as much wick in the juice as possible and spin it to wet all the wicks.

Hope this helps, good luck and welcome to the forum and to vaping!

Hi and welcome to ECF!

You can't turn the voltage or wattage down on the Buck Naked Express kit. It's the kind of kit that many of us started with - no adjustments, just vaping.

What the others have said about top-coil tanks is true, you hav to tilt them and keep the wicks really moist. Also, if you are drawing really hard and/or hoding the fire button down long, that dries wicks out fast.

Use a gentler draw - it's not quite like smoking.

Since you can't adjust your voltage/wattage, try "pulsing" the fire button. By that I mean Hit the fire button for a second while drawing, then let go, then do it again and draw some more - repeat as neccessary. This will keep the coil from getting too hot and drying the wick out.

Many of us who started out on e-cigs like yours have gone through a progression of better equipment.

Usually the next step up is bottom-coil clearomizers, then a VV/VW battery (Variable Voltage/Variable Wattage). Bottom coil clearomizers are a little easier to deal with wicking-wise.

Don't worry, you'll get the hang of things in no time, and you are in the right place for vaping info and advice.

Hope it all works out for you. Let us know how you are doing

Happy Vaping!
