did you add e juice directly to coil/cotton BEFORE use? This is known as priming the cotton/coil. It should ALWAYS be done after changing cotton/coil and BEFORE vaping. Just add a few drops to the dry cotton/coil. I think this will solve your issue. If you do this and are STILL getting a burnt taste reduce wattage until it's no longer burning. Hope this helps and have a Merry Christmas.

More details might help, such as:

What device are you using.
What tank if any are you using.
What coil /atomizer are you using.
What wattage/voltage/temperature are you using it at.
How long has this been going on?
Did this coil / tank / juice ever work right to begin with?
How old is the coil? Yes you said you replaced it, but was the replacement new?
What juice are you using? Strength in MG, flavor, color, vg/pg ratio, etc.

From you initial statement, it sounds like you had a burnt coil, then changed it and now the new one also tastes burnt?
From just that information, a few things are possible:

The burnt taste from the prior coil soaked into the juice left in your tank, and now you are vaping the remaining tainted juice. Solution: dump the tank, rinse, dry, possibly replace the coil and start over. You may be able to salvage the coil in it now, but unless you also rinse and dry that, at best you will have to vape through the remaining bad taste left in the coil, and also run the risk of the leftovers on the coil soaking back into the fresh juice and tainting that again.

The new coil may have machine oil on it, and can be vaped for 1-2 ml of liquid to get past that. Don't inhale, just puff through if this is the case.

Did you also prime the coil by dripping some juice onto the wicking material?

Are you using a juice known to not taste burnt? Possibly it is just the juice that tastes this way.

Does the tank you are using have a juice flow control that is closed off? < Example of why details are important.

Note: Once the wicking material in a coil is actually burned, you will never get the burnt taste out of it.

If none of the above sort it out, then please try to answer the questionnaire, and add as many other details as you can think of. The more information we have, the better we can troubleshoot and assist you.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
