First, congrats on the decision to Vape instead of Smoke, it truely is a Life Changer.

2nd, don't panic. The Blu does work. But you have to understand and accept that the Blu (and all PVs) are not the same as a real cigarette. You hvae to drag on it a little differently. Don't just suck on it hard and quick directly into the lungs.
Instead, draw on it slowly into your mouth (like drinking soda from a straw), draw it into your mouth for just about as long as you can, then remove the ecig from mouth, then inhale.

It will take practice, but this is how to Vape.

A good way to judge if you're sucking too hard or not hard enough...
It will take practice, but try to suck on it just barely hard enough to keep the LED light on.

Also, you are right, the prefilled cartridges from Blu are....not great...
First, after you put the cart on the atomizer, take it right back off.
Take a paperclip, and bend one of the ends out.
And use that to push the inner part of the cart out.
Stick the paperclip right through the little hole on the mouth end, and push.
Remove as much of that foil as you can from the inner cart (and from the atomizer).
Then push the inner cart back in, and put the cart back on the Atomizer.

Then look at the forum suppliers link here, and you'll find a TON of suppliers of ejuice.
Start refilling your carts. But don't use the stock polyfill that came in them.
There are plenty of better materials. Personally, I use the PTB mod.

I've been on my Blu for 2 weeks now, not a single analog since 4/26 5:30 PM.

Hope that is helpfull.

alright dude, here's how ya do it. First off, after putting on a cart and twisting, remove the cart, and the foil from the inside cart will be stuck to the atty. remove it, and replace the cart. Next, get about 5 carts empty, totally remove the foil from them, and start refilling with your own liquid. Also, I have had good luck modding the carts, replacing the polyfill with blue fluval, ptb, or even new polyfill. the stock blu polyfill sucks and won't wick 50% of the liquid.

Now the batteries suck, so don't expect to get more than 50 puffs off either the cart or battery. You can, however maximize the atty life by not using it to tear a hole in foil every cart. Just get the foil off a few and use your own juice. I have found juice from myfreedomsmokes to be excellent in the blu. They do pretty well dripping as well. You can clean blu attys by spraying %70 isopropyl alcohol through the battery end, blowing out the rest, and dry for an hour.

Hope it helps

Oh and also, when I had probs with my blu, I got on the horn with customer service, and this is what they said:

Hello,

I am sorry for this issue you are having with your starter kit. You cannot easily see this but if you face the Battery Charger Pack towards you so that the lid opens away from you, this would be the “front” and midway down the left side of the Charger Pack is another, smaller blue LED indicator that will alternate between various states of illumination – here is what they mean:

Solid = means the Charger Pack is actively charging a battery
Blinking = Battery is charged and ready!
Nothing = There is no battery currently being charged OR the battery can no longer take a charge OR there has been an error and chances are the battery is not screwed into place correctly. You will want to charge these batteries fully for 2 hours and the ultimate test to determine of they are working or not will be to blow into the tip of the battery, you want to be sure that the light on the end of the battery does come on when blowing into the tip. It should be solid for the amount of time your are blowing into the tip.

If you puff and there is NO SMOKE, the battery is either dead or the cartridge could also be in need of changing or to a lesser extent, the atomizer may be clogged. To sort this, you will want to blow into the tip of the atomizer while it is still attached to the battery. By doing so you are not only cleaning the battery bit you are also testing to be sure that it’s working. When blowing into the tip of the atomizer you will want to look for it to produce vapor, glow red down in the atomizer and you may even hear a pop or a sizzle as this means the atomizer is cleaning away any debris from the tip.

You will want to take longer deeper draws on the cigarette. It cannot be used like a traditional cigarette where you can keep drawing on it over and over. It needs to rest for a moment before taking a drag again on the cig. You can also try to tap the LED end of the cig on the palm of your hand like you would "pack" a traditional cigarette and when you take a draw, hold it in the middle where the battery and atomizer meet so that your fingers are blocking the hole there. This helps with the production of vapor.
