One of my co-workers who is also trying to quit came to work with a dead battery. I caught her at the door when she was headed to the store for a pack and gave her my extra battery (I carry two full EVODS). Felt good to be prepared!

It feels so good to help others with this, doesn't it? Of course, this comes around to rule one of vaping that you always hear round here..backup your backups. In my work lunch bag I have extra charger, tanks, juice...and I always have at least 3 full cigs with me. Can usb passthru as well, from both cars as well as any electrical outlet. And I would fall back on snus or a convenience store ecig-a-like if I hit a worse emergency. No more analogues!!! Extra chargers can be had pretty cheaply...maybe get her a gift!
Haha! My wife is too much the jealous type to allow me to give another girl a gift, no matter what the circumstances, but I bought an extra charger to leave at work for ANYBODY to use!
So true! I'm trying to get my ex' to quit, plying her with different equipment, juices. I think maybe she's there, let you know when she gets back to town. Pass-through is the absolute best! I didn't know about these when I started two months ago and bought a larger battery because the 650mAh I got didn't 'quite' last through the day. I initially bought a 1000mAh pass-through, but have gone back to a 650 because it's plugged in most of the time anyway. Vaping while charging is much more convenient than swapping batteries. They should all be pass-throughs...and I'll bet that mostly they will be in a year.
She said the clerk told her it was a "six hour battery" and she only did 3 hours of vaping the day before. I think she learned!
Good on you. I don't know many vapers yet where I live, but you've convinced me to carry one of my largely unused spares as an emergency spare for others. I might even outfit it with a pretty nice eVod head and a homebrewed coil, too, in case it's necessary. That's just smart...vapers looking after vapers.
I haven't seen this recently, but a few years ago I could remember posts here: when folks were out of supplies and desperate (no b&m stores or gas station cig-a-likes back then) they'd post their location and people with extra juice would meet them somewhere to help out. Yeah, this is the best kind of community here..
That is awesomeness! But makes me glad that even in a small city I'm within walking distance of basic supplies!
Well that was weird. No sooner did I put my little kit together with a bottle of non-my-favorite juice did it get called upon! Literally, the next day, had a coworker ask if I had any spare juice for a friend of his that wasn't getting hers in for a few more days. Weird, weird, weird. What a trip. Thanks for the idea...I helped someone too! Woot!
