If anyone in, around, or would be going through Kentucky, let me know, thinking of getting a rental van of some sort
How much luggage you planning on taking? LOL Think I'm going and my car knows the way. If all works out I'm thinking of taking off work Friday to drive up and coming back Sunday.
I'd sure love to go to the Midwest VapeFest in St. Louis on Friday, Aug 20th to Sunday the 22nd. However, I'm not sure I can swing the airfare.
I'm toying with the idea of driving a rent-a-car, preferably carpooling, possibly with a minivan (depending on how many would be interested in joining me). I haven't thought it all through yet, but want to broach the idea here to see who might be interested. Coming from my base in southeast Florida, the natural route would be up the Forida Turnpike through Orlando, connecting with I-75.
Google says that it's about a 20 hour trip. I'm up for driving all day and night on Thursday into Friday (as long as at least one person can share the driving duties), but I'd be open to crashing* on Thursday night at a motel along the way.

* That's a term from my youth, meaning sleeping at a place on an informal basis, not a motor vehicle accident. Not sure if younger generations still use the term in this way.

I already agreed on ride sharing with a lady that lives about halfway along my route or I'd be in on that! Plus my hubs is STILL not sure if he's gonna go or stay here with the monsters.

seems pretty real to me since the hotel is booking the rooms for it maybe your email got overlooked

There was a bunch of people on the vapetv stream last night. Looks like there will be a good crowd today! If you can go, you should get there! If it wasn't a 16hr drive...I'd have already left

it's only about an hour and half drive for us, but not sure if money or child will allow us to make it!! I want more details, if we cant... is there alot of vendors and give aways there?? I Really wanna go....
