I've always been the oily skinned type. Have always had acne, so I expected an increase in the zits. But not as bad as I have gotten. So, yes, even though I commented that it should be tobacco quitting zits...
Look, I'm 50.. My skin is oilier than a prom quee.. err forget that I started that line.. LOL

Seriously, I may get my 1st wrinkle when I'm 75 at this rate.. not complaining about that, but the having to wash my face repeatedly throughout the day can be a pain!! Now, if this stuff would let hair grow back and bring the color back..

Look at this. Toys r us commercial old school. Now kids worry about the Justin Bieber and what not. What were we talking about again? Zits yeah, I didn't get the zits from quiting smoking. I developed colitis and have been sent to the hospital a few times. I'd rather have the zits.

Tucson, it's a dry heat
Thanks Alisa - I can appreciate "crunchy" remedies (and Eric, don't use this as an opportunity to find a commercial for cereal or something, lol!)

Believe me, I know about dry skin--I have eczema, so I have to be super careful about what I put on my skin. I can't even use over the counter creams designed for eczema. The Dr B's does tighten and can dry the face out, but the TT Oil is the kicker--it's an anti-bacterial/anti-fungal and just really good for just about anything. If you use the Witch Hazel toner and CO after you won't dry out.

Coconut Oil will not clog your pores as long as it hasn't been processed (ie, Virgin). Plus, you're sloughing off the dead skin and removing sources of bacteria prior to applying it.

Be careful with moisturizers, as they will likely have ingredients that can dry out your skin (and irritate, causing you to use more and more).

I hear oatmeal baths can do wonders for you skin as well.

I noticed vaping zits for the first couple of weeks.I think there is some truth to the toxins leaving your body and/or it adjusting to the levels of pg and vg were ingesting.

The good news is that 7 months later theyve disappeared, not sure when it happened but it will get better.

Hang in there, Ive seen people (myself included) make up the most ridiculous reasons to go back to smoking.I found a Lipoma on my right shoulder blade 3 months into vaping the second time around. Its common in men in their 40s and is just a fatty deposit but it scared the hell out of me because I thought it was a tumor. I used that to justify going back to smoking as if vaping is what caused it.

Not saying you are just want to be able to congratulate you at the 6 month and 1 year marks. Besides, a couple of zits arent going to make you any less pretty anyway :)

I'm only 23 days smoke free, and I found two little zits near my nose. I haven't had zits since I was 16, and when I do get an occasional one, its due to blocked pores. When I heard about the possible skin reactions to quitting smoking, I just about freaked out. I don't wear much makeup anyway, so until the this 'quitter's skin' lightens up I'm not going be using foundation or powder for a while, wash my hands alot, wear gloves when handling juice, and blot alot. :)

sadly i love mewlews magic blend, the company that makes it is organic 100% vg, i vape it for a bit and boom zits more than ever.
i have had acne for 10+ years, and quitting and switching has made it change, but vg messes me up, i can do 70% VG but no more than that :(
oh and an odd tip, since it is getting warmer out, try putting hand sanitizer on your face, drys it up, but still mosturizes.

Your oil glands overact a bit when quitting. Wipe your face off with a damp cloth frequently can sometimes help. Just make sure its room temp, then let air dry.

Oh goodie! My face is going to be a fountain. And I won't be able to see because my glasses will slide off. I better carry a roll of paper towels with me...

it is wonderful juice, but i vaped less than a ml, and i have like a cluster of zits by my lip, like the joker.
maybe there is a way to add PG to it?

I dunno - they pride themselves on being 100% VG. I think it says on their site that they can accomodate certain PG needs. It's just a sampler, so if I really like it, I'll order more and ask them to up the PG.
