ECF ROCKS!

That's the simple way to put it.
In more words it all boils down to the way people (newbies and veterans alike) are treated.
But it's more for the newsies that I speak I think...
I see so many questions that seem to keep being asked over and over and none of you show any signs of being annoyed by it.

Granted, a lot of us do use the search function but I myself am guilty of asking questions that later on I found had been answered before.
And yet, I get normal answers instead of "google it" or "next time use the search bar".

I have to give props to all of you here at ECF for showing patience and willingness to help out. Even if to you it feels like you are repeating yourselves.

So on behalf of all the new vapers already here and yet to come, Thank You!

And I'm not even talking about the guides/tips/tricks/tutorials.
I've bookmarked my share already so please people, keep writing them. They are immensely helpful.

You are quite welcome Liscab.
Salem, I know. I've said these things many times on the few boards I ran myself or helped moderate.
But I have accounts on many many forums, and on far from enough of them I see friendly people.
True, the difference between here and there is the average age of the users. But that does not change the fact that it's nice to come to a place where people actually help you when you ask a question.

So, aside from the fact that this place will change my way of life, I've found a place where the nice folks hang out.

We just remember what it was like when we started, and how we were treated. :)

but one thing is sure,a lot of the old people in here, the so call veterans are fully outdated about all the new devices that are around in the market, we the oldest are learning from the newbies :)

and it is not a joke

Plus a lot of folks understand that a newbies questions are often based on incomplete knowledge of vaping terms and common practices. A search will sometimes be of help but very often just confuses the person even more!

I don't know if it is so much the oldies learning from the newbies, but rather everyone's vaping path takes them down a slightly different road. I have alot of twists in mine. ECF can be looked at sort of like a road map. No one who is here will flounder too long.

I agree with the roadmap analogy. In the end it doesn;t matter as much the path you take. The destination is the key- enjoy the trip ;)

You are a regular Hallmark card OS.

Dutch, thanks for the great words, I just want to add that you are a valued member on ECF as well and it's much appreciated that you made ECF your home
