Why not have a new medical forum for regular members?

I asked once before why I could not read the medical forum and was told it's only for doctors or qualified medical professionals (as well as the other forums we cannot even see like the CIA forum)

Here's a different take on the subject.

I see threads all the time from people asking medical advice related to vaping. Regular users are the ones that try to answer these questions by quoting websites and the like.

That's fine if the advice is sound but who's to say it is? If I had a vaping related medical question, knowing most doctors do not know as much about vaping as they should to give informed advice, I would much rather go to a place where knowledgeable doctors are hanging around and ask them. I propose the ECF creates such a forum.

If the ECF had such a forum it could more correctly help many people. People could at least be sure that they were getting advice from a medical professional who was versed in the knowledge of vaping. Playing the devils advocate, one might make the argument that letting users ask medical questions to be answered by regular non medical professional users is irresponsible and could cause grave harm.

Such a forum as I propose would take the liability out of ECF's hands and put it on the doctor or medical professional who chooses to answer these questions.

Have you guys ever considered such a forum?

I would love it if we were able to read the medical forum. I actually do not understand why it is closed to most people. I think being able to speak to the medical community would be a great thing for us. Especially for someone like me who has a severe back problem who know smoking causes problems to my back, but no idea about vaping

You are not allowed to read or post in the suppliers private area either. The medical professionals forum is a private area for the medical professionals to discuss things among themselves outside of the public eye.

Asking for medical advice on a forum is not the best idea anyway. You have no way to verify the credentials and experience of the people that respond to you. If you need medical advice, you should consult a properly certified and licensed medical professional in person.

I'm sure many of the medical professionals here will tell you that without examining you they would rather not give advice other than the general advice given in the existing medical related sub forums.
