Hey guys. What battery would you recommend with this mod? The chocolates aren't the greatest for it, and I've heard the Imren's are mostly re-wraps. Didn't know that before I bought some, but they are 3500mAh and 15/30A and seem to work fine, but wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations. Thanks for reading.

Do a search here on ECF for Mooch. He is the battery guru! Imren, MXJO, AWT, Efest... they're all rewraps. Sony, LG, Samsung are the batteries you want to look at. There is an inverse correlation between amperage and mAh. Higher mAh = lower amperage, and vice versa... for long run times, Samsung 30q. For high amperage, LG HB6.

when buying batteries it's a trade off... between time and amps. browns are excellent batteries, they're 19-20 a and 3000 mah. if you want more amps the best balanced set is currently the VTC5A which is 25a and 2500 mah. if you care less about time and want 30a then the LG HB6 is the one you want with 1500 mah.

If not, don't use that setup, at all..
