HT - I like 16mg in sweet flavors like cherry, and 24mg when the heebie jeebies threaten to come out to play.
Went to a small college a few miles away from where JD is brewed and on a good day you could smell the mash cooking. JD is the man no doubt, but since the hangovers started hurting worse than they used to - you will find me keeping company with a Margarita (rocks), big drinks with lil umbrellas, or a glass of white zin.

Okay Morandir Dear....I'd try it, but I don't particularly like Jaeger either...Jack I do like and that is my brothers drink of choice. I am mostly a dark beer drinker with 1 or 2 on the rocks liquor kinda gal....but love the long neck cold one on a nice summer day!
Star, I'm not much on the sweet drinks, I do like an occasional white russian or Kahlua and cream.....I can do a margarita from time to time and my martini.....vodka (usually Absolut) dry with just a splash of vermouth....And I do mean SPLASH.
MoonDance...my hangover cure...well works for me and my brother....mountain dew before either passing out or going to bed.....something with the caffeine and all that sugar must do it for us.....in the morning we have no hangover

It really does cure the flu Ms. Keelalagirl. My wife was only able to drink a shot and a half worth, but it cleared right up.... Just make sure the jager is added at below freezing... Start with everclear, then whiskey, jager last....
I believe it...it's bound to kill everything in it's way!...hubby has a bottle of whiskey that he uses for sore throats....burns the sore right out of it....all better the next day

It mixes itself. By the end it looks like oil, burns like fire, and brings joy to the heart Ms. Keelalagirl. Made it one night while listening to Wrath of the Tyrant... Three members of Emperor, three alcohols...
I usually drink beer (Yuengling, Honey Brown, Harp not Bud or Coors or Michelob) or a Mojito. What can I say, I am a beer snob who likes mint.
Coors light and/or Glenlivit shots for me. Maybe a couple of shots of Chambor(sp) once in a while.
I'm a fellow snob as well Gardner sir, except my go to is Dogfish Head. I'm about to crack open a 90 minute I.P.A. in a moment...

As far as everclear goes, It has an amazing effect on a party.
Make a batch of strawberry daquiri in a blender with 3 shots of everclear.
In about 20 minutes, the room will sound like recess at an elementary school, and you'll be chained to the blender making more and sending someone out for more ice.
In about 2 hours, there will be new best friends in all the dark areas of your house.
Amazing stuff.

I love Yuengling and Honey Brown also. I remember I was at a party and some guy brought a case of HB and I brought a case of Heineken I ended up drinking almost all the HB.
