New to the vape scene! Well, outside of those (in my opinion) gross faux cigarettes like Blu and similar units. I've tried a few different models one step up, the current being the vaporfi pro 3, and yet I'm not satisfied.

Then over the weekend someone had a smok alien with a drip tank and let me try it; it was the most heavenly thing I've ever tasted. He even hooked me up with a bottle of banana cream, which I may add doesn't taste near as good in my vaporfi.

Not to mention the coils are expensive. The juice is expensive. The battery life doesn't last me a full day of casual vaping (I'm talking just treating like it's a cigarette and taking a smoke break every few hours).

Here I am now awaiting my order of the smok alien mini (al85) with baby beast tank, external battery charger, as well as a separate order of juice making supplies (TFA and CAP flavors included). I figure after a few weeks (when my premade coils are running low) I can try making my own coils too.

There's so much to learn! I've ghosted the forums yesterday and the recipe listings and general info have been incredibly helpful. And someday when I know a good bit, I too; shall help the newbies. ;)

Have a good one

Welcome @Obsidia

Yes, you did have a lot to learn, as Vaporfi is not what it appears to be. They sell Kanger and other Chinese brands with their own logos on and charge a completely different price to other vaping companies. At one point $119 for a $29 Kanger e-cigarette.
They then offer incentives to review sites and companies that control media/internet to create an impression of being something special. They even boast 400% profit margins on their own 'investing' information. It is despicable.

Happily, I can tell you have seen the light and that is now destined for the history books.

You'll be OK now you have escaped the very deliberate maze that is internet e-cigarette marketting. Bad luck.

That would certainly explain the overpricing and unimpressive quality! I'm glad to be as far away from vaporfi as possible. I'm not sure I'd even feel comfortable selling the pro 3, I'll probably just give it away.

My Al85 arrived today and I'm in love! Hoping my juice making supplies are shipped ASAP. In the meantime, cheers with some banana cream!

Yes.. it's very strange. I wouldn't mind so much but the community does nothing (they are embarrassingly apathetic) to stop it. Some actually support it; I mean, do these people get out of bed in the morning and decide to be really selfish human beings for a few lousy $$?

I have a banana cream somewhere in my box (pre-made)... it's a good flavor.
Tonight I am vaping something very weird - another 'last minute' 30ml bottle which will not be on sale after 20th May thanks to European laws.

AL85 is popular. I'm done with mods and tanks now... just in time for the Zombie lockdown. :)

Welcome and glad you joined. A commonly held opinion in the vaping community (self-proclaimed "purists" swear by dripping as the best way to vape) is that RDAs as a class produce purer and more intense flavor than any other method of vaporizing. Thus, RDAs represent the gold standard against which all other types of atomizers are measured.
