I donated this to someone wanting to start vaping who thought he could tweak the design a little bit. By the time I got it back, it was not functional.
Just like now, Robert was always refining and improving his mods. I'd get an unexpected priority mail box with a note saying to try something out. Hell, at one point I may have even had three of them.
Poor old Uno. Used, abused and broken. Battered and bruised. A relic of the dim vaping past. It may not be fixable, and if it was, it wouldn't be possible to put it back in original condition to the 3rd party modifications. So ugly that Robert felt a little embarrassed about it.
When I was trying to get Uno patched up in time for the Reo Family Reunion last weekend, Robert made a suggestion. I've learned the hard way what happens when I don't take them. He had something which I may even like better.
ReoDos, the second Reo, was stolen off of my porch the day my Father died in hands down the worst day of my life.
ReoTres, the third Reo, aka Trey, was sent to me afterwards. Same original design as Uno, but it was a special edition with two types of wood. How special? Two were ever made, and Robert's got the other one. Long story short, I had a minor problem with it and sent it back. By that time, Robert was already improving his design, adding an on off switch and the like, so Trey sat on a shelf untouched on his workshop. Truthfully, I had forgotten all about it.
Just received it this morning. Same design as Uno, but in pristine, flawless condition. Gorgeous. It's not getting used. It's purely a collector's piece as far as I'm concerned. I had reservations about giving Uno back, until about an hour ago.
Think the pictures halfway turned out. Hope you enjoy them. Thanks.
