Hi everyone! I just thought I would say hi and introduce myself, I have been a smoker for a good 15 years and need to quit so that I can get weight loss surgery for one thing, the other is my general health and being disabled and on SS, save money, I have been using the Vuse disposable e-ciggs since I got a coupon in the mail. Going between them and my Camel turkish royals, I did some research online and finally decided to go with the V2 EXstarter kit since it was the whole black friday/cyber monday sale thing, so hoping it works. If anyone has any advice or tips for me. Please reply! I welcome the information!

I never planned to quit, just to be able to vape in the house. Once I realized how much I liked it, it was pretty easy. I didn't quit all at once. Don't pressure yourself. I'd say it took about a month before I was completely off cigarettes and the end of this month it will be 5 years.

Hello and Welcome. I am new here too.I've been vaping for 2 months now, but I smoked a cigarette a couple weeks ago with a buddy of mine. It was like a social thing. Since I started vaping and even after that burn a couple weeks ago, I have had no desire for a 'real' cigarette. I'm almost 50 and I smoked most of my life, then my neighbor started vaping. He was into his third month so I decided it would be a good time for me to try it. I'm so glad I did, and wish I had done it sooner. Hindsight is always 20/20..

I can't speak for the US, but in the UK Vuse is a no-go and small cig-a-likes are crazy money.

If that is true and you are in need of something cheaper and better, I wish you luck.

Maybe you can refill your V2 system?

Welcome! And don't rush dropping the nic. Once you get the right nic level squared away, you'll throw out those stinkies! Then slowly taper down the nic level after you've been vaping awhile.

Don't know if you can get them where your at but Walmart has the Mistic and you can refill them .
That's what I started with and the battery's are rechargeable.

Vaping for a couple years but new to mod and rda. Currently have a v5 but was not getting much power on my rda so I went with stacking 2 18350's in it and wow! It's awesome but I've heard it is risky to do any thoughts?

I'm right there with Caridwen... 5 years on the vape without really looking back and wishing for a cigarette at all... when we started, the little cig-a-likes were pretty much all there was. They do work and can get you to where you want to be... but there are better and more efficient models out now. When you are ready for them, just let us know and we'll be more than happy to make suggestions and help you out with any issues that you may have. This is a very giving community, and everyone here is especially friendly and helpful... all you have to do is A.) Want to make the switch. and B.) Ask any questions you may have... the answers will come!

Hi! I'm a new member too, but I've been vaping for almost a year now. You've made a good choice with your starter kit - mine was just a simple ego with a c5 clearimizer and I loved it immediately.
