I stumbled upon this site while doing some e-smoke research online, and was hooked in by the wealth of info! Ive been in the Marines for 15 yrs and currently serving in Afghanistan and decided to quit during this deployment. 1 1/2 pk a day smoker for about 16 years and this is my 4th day with no cigs (thanks to nic patch and gum...hahahha) I enjoy smoking and am looking for an alternative, especially when drinking (smoke like a freight train then, sometimes 2pks a night easy). I ordered a Yeti kit from altsmoke, along with some juice and spare attis etc to get started. Anyway looking fwd to learning more and checking out the vape!

Thanks guys!!! This is still hard as hell, even chewing the gum like a madman with a patch on. I cant take chantax or whatever its called due to being on flight status...ugggg But its not that bad here now, wifi etc. believe it or not! 1st time I was here in 03 lived in tents or on the aircraft so deffo not bad at all. I just know im gonna cave to the smokes when I get back though and have some beers with my friends, so hopefully this will be a suitable alternative.

That should be the same as a slim 510 like Joye 510. If you find the battery life is too short for a heavy vaper, then look at the following bigger battery options (should be same threading if you get 510 threading):

Ego and Riva 510 at Liberty-Flights.com (that shop has the 3.7v Riva 510's), and 510-threaded mods like E-power, and even little 3.7v plastic box mods in ECF's Buying & Selling...Mods and Accessories (you add a standard 14500 protected battery and one or more spares and a charger for them), or bottom feeder mods with juice bottles built in (Old Goat Mods in the section mentioned above, or a Reo from Buying & Selling classifieds or reosmods.com). Anything you get with 510 threading should be able to use your atomizers and cartomizers. And the big 450mah+ batteries can also use the hotter LR (low resistance) atomizers and cartomizers. Once you have 5 posts or replies and an hour's wait you can send/recieve PMs and post elsewhere and use the Buying & Selling section.

You can see what I use below in my sig. I use 3 ohm Boge cartos so I can move them between my slim 510 and my Riva 510 and 3.7v $20 mod box an ECF member made.

Welcome to your new hobby! Vaping works great for most people to totally replace smoking. You just may need to add to your equipment a bit in the beginning. Have fun!

BTW - I love my 510's (manuals) with cartomizers. I use the Boge 3 ohm ones (slim ecigs should not use the hotter 2 ohm ones)

Thanks for the info dormouse. I researched for a couple of days and like tons of ppl say, its overwhelming to say the least! I ordered an extended manual battery for the kit also. A lot of supplier sites are either blocked due to being smoke related , or they dont ship over here. I dropped about $130 total on the kit, accessories/supplies, and a BUNCH of diff juices. If this works out like I hope it will, this kit will get passed on to a friend when I upgrade.

@madjack thanks! I am looking into a Bullet for my 2nd toy. What really sucks is that all streaming vids etc are blocked, so I cant see the stuff in "action".

5th day without a cig!!!!!!!!!!!! (thanks to 21mg patch and 4-5 pieces of 4 mg gum a day though....hahahhaahah) Next week I start 14mg patch and 2mg gum, then try the vape. Its hard to explain but my lungs are craving the hell outta a cig even with all of the nic Im using.
