Hi, I have been vaping for a few months now and got to enjoy some of the ins and well....its outs as well.
Recently I decided to purchase a Protank 2. I kinda enjoyed it but I noticed that after a few pulls I get that burnt wick taste and if I leave it alone for a few minutes its fine but replicates the burnt taste again if I use it too frequently. I used MT3Ses and I became accustomed to Kangers wick issues and I have been changing the wicks upon purchase of new atty heads with cotton strands from a cotton ball and all is working fine so I decided to go ahead and do the same with the atty head in my new tanks ki. No nasty taste BUT soon after I get hardly any draw. I checked the wick to make sure it wasnt too thick and not clogging the air way and it was indeed fine. I checked the insulator around the pin and it was mushroomed out a tad so I pulled it out and let the rubber reform to its natural shape but that wasnt the issue because there is still a tight draw. I took the tip of a set of cuticle scissors and carved out one of the air holes in the base and it did improve slightly so I moved on to the seal between the chimney and the chimney shaft on the atty head which typically is the culprit for burnt tastes but decided to pull it up and allow the chimney to seat it properly while reassemble the tank which fixed many burnt taste issues in the past with previous Kanger atty heads.
Now I notice I get hardly any cloud but oddly my juice is vaping off at twice the rate. Checked everything out as far as seals and what not and it appears to be fine. No leaking, not even a hint of moisture on the firing pin of the tank itself and definitely no pools of juice in my battery.
I am using it on a VV V3 and I adjusted through all its settings and I still appear to have these issues. Tried other tanks on the VV and they all work perfect. Tried the PT2 on other batteries and it did indeed replicate the issue.
Really at a loss here as to what could be the issue.
