Hello all! My SO has finally decided to give up the analogs after 15 years and I'm super excited about it. I decided to switch from smokeless tobacco products (Skoal) at the same time. We went to the local Volcano store and she picked up an Inferno (pretty sure it's just a rebranded eGo) Since she's got both a 900mah and a 650mah battery I decided to just save some money and use her backup as her 900mah version lasts her 2 days or so from full charge. The question I have is that being a non-smoker to start with, the TH from her 16mg juice is a little harsh for me but I still feel like I need to chain vape to be able to handle my cravings. I'm relatively sure the mix is 70/30 pg/vg. Any suggestions?

Vaping is different from smoking. May not totally apply to your situation, but perhaps your SO. Some people who smoked used a direct lung inhale, which will generally not work well with vaping (at least not initially). A better technique is to do a mouth inhale. Draw on the e-cig like you would on a straw in a thick milkshake.

A slow, gentle, long draw of 4 - 6 seconds in length, hold in the mouth for a second or two. Then either inhale into the lungs, or exhale through both the nose and lungs.

The nicotine in vapor is absorbed differently than the nicotine in smoke. Most is absorbed in the mouth, throat, and nose with vapor. Therefore it is not necessary to inhale the vapor into the lungs to absorb all the nicotine in vapor.

Also, it took smokers some time to become used to inhaling smoke. It will take some time to become used to inhaling vapor.

The Pg (propylene glycol) and Vg (vegetable glycerin) in the e-liquid can be drying to the mucous membranes of the oral airway, so drink plenty of water when vaping. Some people find Pg to be harsh (even allergic) so when given an option to choose Pg/Vg ratios in e-liquids, choose a ratio of 50/50 or higher Vg.

Hope this info is helpful.

I agree the first thing you should try is a lower VG/PG ratio. More VG less PG.
You can also try a higher ohm coil. That will vaporize less juice but with more VG you will still get as much or almost as much vapor.
Last you can lower your nicotine level. You will still want to chain vape but without the harshnes it will be a more pleasant vape. Eventually your body will get used to the lower nic level.
You can also try different juices. Some juices are harsher than others.
