I know how to build coils just dnt understand ohm law to be honest. don't want to over do something and something bad happensto this box mod or me. But the air holes are right on the coils. These air holes are really small on this rda though
Basically, ohms law is about how ohms affects power.

Volts x volts / ohm = watts

So, you want your voltage between 3.7 and 4.2. So we'll look to vape around 4 volts. For ohms we'll do 0.5 cause it's a subtank and 0.5 is the most common sub ohm.

So 4 x 4 / 0.5 = 32 watts.

If you go down in watts, the volts will drop, and if you go up in watts the voltage will increase. As long as you have a regulated battery, it probably won't explode lol.. But it's good to be safe.

So as my first post im going to be asking questions already :). i got a box mod Vt40 With a rda Production. The guy at the shop build me a build. 22 gauge 7 wraps at .22 ohms. The problem I am having is with Vape production it takes about a good 2 seconds for the coils to heat up and when it does its a really small hit. was just wondering as to where i should start tweaking my setup should i go with less wraps or higher gauge maybe a 24. Thank you for your time.

Going to ohms law calculator, if you put your box on max 40 watts through a .22 ohm coil, you're only giving your coils 2.966 volts.... which is not much at all. Especially when you're working with such a thick wire. With a .22 ohm coil, I'd recommend at least 80 watts. Plain and simple, you're not getting enough power.

find an ohms law calculator and plug in some numbers. I'd work with 4.2 - 4.8 volts for the coil for standard vaping. Plug in that, then plug in the wattage you want to vape at, it should tell you what ohm you should be building at to get that.

Now, that being said, keep in mind, that thinner gauge wire heats up faster, but produces less vapor in general.

I question the vape store that sold you the system and built it for you. Something tells me it is a store of all young kids running it. To send you out the door with a .22ohms and not understanding what it means is so wrong. Good thing you came here to ask questions. Hate to read about you in the news. CHEERS!
